Andrew grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan, and graduated in 2005 from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts honours degree in studio painting and art theory. He currently focuses his work on large scale, obsessively detailed oil and acrylic paintings and pencil drawings. Since 2000, his art has been featured in public and private exhibitions and collections throughout North America, including the United States and Mexico, and in 2005, he was the sole painter selected to represent Canada in the internationally renowned Francophonie Games, held in Niger, Africa. Such credentials have earned him a reputation as one of Canada's most promising young artists. In 2009, Andrew will complete a Master of Fine Arts at the internationally renowned Chelsea College of Art and Design in London, England.
