Gabriela Bertiller was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1969. She currently lives and works in New York City. She received her BA from Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes, Prilidiano Pueyredon and her MFA from School of Visual Arts in New York City.
She has been Artist-in-Residence at Changdong National Art Studio run by the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul Korea, Red Gate Gallery in Beijing and The Banff Centre in Canada.
Gabriela Bertiller has exhibited at Gallery Hyundai, Seoul (2005), Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art, Japan (2005) Centro Cultural Recoleta, Buenos Aires (2003), Federico Klemm Gallery, Buenos Aires (2003) and Visual Arts Gallery, New York (2001).
