Aéropostale is a work on the idea of memory and its fragility. When I refer to memory, I relate it to the personal memory which I think is unique and makes up our individual identity. In the case of Aeropostale, I take a postcards’ family collection, which I photograph and work on them. I think the frame of my works conceptually . The pictures are framed under acrylic because it is a way to bring images from the past to a contemporary moment. An installation is also part of Aeropostale where images are located on and within furniture.

The memory and the dreams seem to be both big territories where Carolina Magnin’s images float. It is in this precise edge where her photographic offer begins to take its form. Her images seem to be involved in subtle atmospheres of dream. The trip, the evanescence of the facts captured in the memory, the passage between emotional states, are the ellipse and the magic that orbit Aeropostale.
