Candice Jacobs was one of the co-founders and co-directors of Moot, an artist-run project space in Nottingham (2005-2010). www.mootgallery.org
Jacobs is currently involved in the development of One Thoresby Street, an artist-run building which supports individual artists and art organisations. www.onethoresbystreet.org
Jacobs is a practicing artist and also one of the Directors of Moot, an artist-led gallery space in Nottingham.

Candice Jacobs often creates works that use sound, film, sculpture, performance and text to investigate ideas surrounding cultural materialism, popular culture, social hierarchy and structure, repetitive action, failure, anxiety, doubt and boredom.
