Jacobs often makes work that draws attention to location, context, social hierarchy and structure. In October 2005, Jacobs helped to establish the highly successful Moot gallery and continues to be one of the four Co-Directors.
Moot is an artist-led gallery/project space based in Nottingham whose programme has included a combination of solo and group exhibitions, offsite activities, art fairs and publication projects. A not for profit organisation, Moot do not formally represent artists, the gallery receives public funding and operates commercial activity to fund its programme. www.mootgallery.org
