Exorcism

This sculpture was created out of materials generated from a series of failed paintings. Painting and repainting the same canvases led to a amassing a large amount of muslin cleaning rags and dried paint scrapings.

Stuck Series

These paintings were part of a series of works created during a period of time spent grappling with the question of whether or not to continue painting. The canvases have a high level of impasto built up from multiple layers of paint being applied and then scraped back out in frustration, and feature ambiguously generic figures that are also stuck, within the center of the canvas and within their depicted environments.

Broken Homes Interventions

This series of public sculpture interventions placed large models of houses were created mainly out of foraged materials sourced from demolished structures. They were re-introduced into various industrial landscapes in Jersey City, inhabiting environments that have been sitting vacant. The original buildings that once resided upon the land were torn down years ago to make way for luxury housing, none which has yet to be realized. Materials include scavenged plywood, house paint, acrylic, cardboard, and rubble.

Being Amanda was created as part of a larger interventional work entitled Being You during which this and one other painting were surreptitiously installed alongside two other artist's work, masquerading as part of their larger body of work within a gallery exhibit.
