Paint me a head 2006 installation-detail, size variable, mixed media

I asked him, “Paint me a head”
but,
he made a relief on a wall
I asked him, “Paint me a river”
but,
he made a rose object placed on the floor
then, he climbed up onto the wall and built a mountain
he said, “I’ve made you a mountain”

he came down, walked to the other side and planted a tree
he said, “I’ve planted a tree”

I took a breath and realized that,
he had forgotten to tell me how to
draw a home

>he sought to capture a more realistic image of the Nude 2007, digital c-print

the beauty of random and the dumb of urban 2003

Brussels Street, on the 4th Thursday of “Who is afraid of Mohamed?” project, I have changed the commercial signs of the shops into uni-format;blue fonts on white plastic boards. The intervention has dealt with issues of awareness of environment, misery of signs, globalisation, free market, commercial motives and over designed surroundings.
