A Hard Core Retrospective to Cutsman by Horse The Band. The Final Number in Neptunes Pollywogs!

The two Main Characters of Neptune's Pollywogs were a Mr./Mrs. Potato Head Anus, and a Werewolf Vagina. They were both Sailors Lost on the Big Sea of Normal. They were searching for MOby Dick because he was the Great White Apparition of the Sea, but then after careful consideration of there Gender Troubles, the decided to go after Melinda Dick, the female rock star diva of the island oasis in the Big Sea of Normal.

Black or White: Ni'Ja and Leone Investigate is a two year attempt to formulate a performance that addressed and proposed a conversation about whiteness and blackness, how the two oppose, and how much they conjoined. It was a series of questions set up in an interview format. The piece was emotionally challenging for both Ni'ja Whitson and myself, and eventually led to the destruction of our friendship.

Black or White: Ni'Ja and Leone Investigate

Ryan and I worked on bringing in many pop-stereotypes of White Male Masculinity. This included The characters of He-Man, Santa Claus, Sasquatch, Sailors, Pirates and Cowboys. We also included the idea of Cryptozoology into this piece by combining sea creatures with animals from the wild wild west. Using Cryptozoology in Neptune's Pollywogs parralelled the underlying critique of the binary codification of gender.
