statement

This ongoing body of work is a series of paintings investigating psychological spaces which reference the memory of space and explore concepts of time, longing, and nostalgia.
Combining imagined, as well as existing interiors, architectural elements reappear throughout the paintings. The disparate spaces with echoing elements become familiar through the viewer's recollection and become unified through the perceptual experience of the works.
